Fun times at Nonna and Grandad's

The rain hasn't hampered our fun with the girls! Yesterday I took them to the movies to see "Angry Birds" it was a cute movie. 

This morning we went to "Bubble Day" on the square, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The girls had fun blowing bubbles. Afterwards, we went to visit their Great grandparents, Nannoo and Pawpaw. 

We spent the rest of the day playing in the hot tub, baking cookies and drawing pictures. They loved getting to make strawberry shortcakes.

We sure love the time we get to spend with our granddaughters!

Efurd Stop

The girls came home with us this past Wednesday, so on our way we stopped in Pittsburg at Efurds. It's always fun to taste the peaches, and see all the old things they have like the old cars and trucks and to take pictures. They have homemade ice cream for sale too.  Maity LOVES to have her picture taken these days! LOL

End of school awards

These two sweet girls came home with awards for the school year. So proud of them both!

Maitland was awarded the "Sweet Tart" award for always being sweet to everyone at preschool! She will be a Kindergartener next year!

Avery was awarded "Most AR Points, Best Language Arts Grade, Highest Reading average,Attendance Award  and All-A honor roll for 2nd grade. On to third grade!

Time for some softball!

This is Avery's first year to play softball. I went to watch her and her team play this past Friday. She got a hit and seems to be having lots of fun. Maitland is the team's bat girl and she takes her job seriously! 👍😉So cute!!

Two Spring Breaks

These past two weeks we have had a lot of fun with Pur sweet granddaughters! Raegan came to see us a few days and it rained everyday she was here! But we made the most of it! We played, watched Dispucable Me 2 about 50 times, ha! And too Raegan to see her first movie, Zootopia. She enjoyed it and watched the entire movie. Pretty good for a two year old!

Next came Avery and Maitland! I wish the girls all had the same week for spring break but they didn't. It was pretty this week and the girls got to play outside a lot. They rode the 4-wheeler with Granddad, played with sidewalk chalk, went to the movies, spent time at Gang Gangs, baked and decorated Eastwr cakes, played barbies, went to the park with their new friend, caught tadpoles and crawfish and got dirty! Whew! This Nonna is wore out, but what a fun time and lots of memories we made!
