Christmas part 3

Sunday after church we went to Mike's parents house to celebrate Christmas with them and his brother Steve and his family. We really had a nice visit with them. We had some good mexican food, along with candy, chips and dips, cheese logs and christmas cookies. After lunch we opened gifts and then played card games. Avery loved her little baby doll that Nannoo and Paw Paw gave her. Not only does the baby crawl and babble, she toots! haha We all had a lot of laughs watching her play with her new doll. It was another nice Christmas with my inlaws!

Christmas part 2

This past Saturday we had Christmas with my side of the family in our home. We had a great time together. My niece and nephew from Kentucky were here this year along with both my brothers, sister in law, and my Mom. We did a lot of visiting, eating, opening gifts and our traditional bingo. Here are a few pictures in no particular order.

Christmas with our kids 2009

This year was one of the best Christmases! Avery was big enough to really enjoy it and it was so much fun watching her. Having the kids all together meant so much to me. We had some great family time together. We had dinner, then opened gifts and played games. Tomorrow I'll try to post pictures of our Christmas with the rest of the family.

I was told that Erin LOVES the "Wizard of Oz", so getting this for her was a MUST! She LOVED it!

I couldnt resist getting my grown son a toy this year, he has a dachsund, so when I saw this slinky dog, I just had to get it! He got a kick out of it too!

Christmas Party

This past Tuesday we had our work Christmas party at the Carson House. Its a beautiful bed and breakfast that has a wonderful restraunt. We all had a fabulous meal then had our annual chinese gift exchange. We always have a lot of fun when we get together. Then on Friday, Santa came for a visit!

Merry Christmas to my co-workers

I'm not sure what this stuff is called, so I'm gonna name it "Popcorn Trash". This is what I am giving to all my wonderful coworkers this year. I hope they like it. I will be posting the recipe to my recipe blog soon in case anyone wants to try it. Its yummy goodness!! Popcorn, white almond bark, m & m's and peanuts, but you can put whatever you want in it. Ive seen it with craisins too! I found these cute little buckets at Target in the dollar bin! I placed the filled buckets in clear cellophane bags, also found at Target and tied it off with ribbon and a gift tag.
